Safety Precautions & Medical Team

Medical Team Availability
Danish english speaking doctors will be on-site during the race. They have the authority to stop runners if they deem it necessary for health reasons. All decisions by the medical team are final.

If you need to drop out, head to the nearest drink station for a cooling drink and we will transport you back to the finish area, but expect some wait time, due to the conditions of the race route.

Prepare for high heats by hydrating well before the race and cool down at waterstations. Sunscreen is crucial, and sunglasses and a cap are highly recommended!

Time-taking & Results

The Big Five Marathon is timed by Champion Chip, using a bib chip system, where the timing chip is attached to your bib number. All results will be net time, meaning your time starts from the moment you cross the start line. However, the top three male and female finishers of both distances are found on gun time - the first three to physically cross the finish line.

Reults will be available here after the race.
